Astrophotography by Terry Hancock
From my humble beginnings in this hobby through to today, the majority of my images have been shot from this tiny 8' x 8' shed which is a "batwing" design, an idea I got from my good friend Andy D'arienzo of New York, it's a very simple and cost effective approach that has worked well for me.
.Today it houses an Astro-Tech 12" f/8 Ritchey-Chrétien astrograph, a TMB 92SS F5.5 APO Refractor, my equatorial mount is a Paramount GT-1100S with the MKS-4000 electronics.
My cameras include a QHY9M and a new QHY11 monochrome CCD that I hope to be testing shortly.
