Hey Guys and Girls!!!

You might say this is my Christmas present which was too big and heavy for Santa to drop down the chimney in a
stocking …LOL. I just shot these photos of the Paramount GT1100S Robotic mount which is all setup and waiting for
clear skies, I could be waiting a while. You will see on there the cables are still connected in the traditional
manner, I am waiting to get hold of some short cables so they will be routed through the mount.
It was pretty heavy to lift on the pier but thanks to Adam and Steve we got her done. The engineer that made the
adapter plate had to make some last minute changes but it’s all good now. Also thanks to Len Bassett for providing
the really long Allan wrenches that allowed me to mount the TMB using the Losmandy adapter plate. I have it all connected
to TheSky6 software using the USB instead of the serial RS232 connection using WIN7 32 bit, works great..

The wheelie Bars were very helpful in wheeling this rig in and out of the
house on clear nights as the observatory waited re-erection.
